Need someone for a short-term assignment? LinkedIn ProFinder lets you find U.S. freelancers for all kinds of services, including accounting, design, writing, and IT, at no cost to you.

To try it, visit linkedin.com/profinder and then type in the service you need. Fill out a few quick questions about the size, scope, and deadline of your project and how you want to work with the person (in person or virtually). Then click “Get free proposals.”

Within hours, you’ll receive up to five proposals from LinkedIn’s curated list of professionals. After that, you’re on your own to communicate and negotiate with freelancers directly.

Consider Being a ProFinder
If you are a service provider, apply to be a LinkedIn ProFinder at linkedin.com/profinder/pros. LinkedIn will email you project requests that match your expertise. Respond to requestors with a short proposal. If your offer fits their needs, they can view your profile and reach out to you to start a conversation. Promote your services on your profile and refine your proposal pitch and pricing to improve your chances of getting offers. Also, share posts on LinkedIn to build your brand identity for what you do. Note that you must have at least a LinkedIn Business Premium account ($59.99/mo.) to be able to interact with ProFinder prospective clients.

Whether you’re a freelancer or need one, give LinkedIn ProFinder a whirl!
