What to do Daily on LinkedIn

by Kathy Bernard

Here’s how to be active on LinkedIn to show up higher in search results for what you do or sell:

1) Invite prospects to connect, customizing your invitation message to build the relationship.

2) Accept invitations, personalizing your reply by visiting “My Network” > “Invitations” > “See all”.

3) Endorse three connection’s for five skills each by going to their profile, scrolling to Skills and Endorsements and clicking the plus sign next to a skill. Choose “Highly skilled” from the pop up and then “Submit”.

4) Accept skills endorsements and thank the endorser.

5) Scroll through people in the “People you may know” lists under “My Network” and invite three people who you know to connect. Don’t click “Connect” from the list, but rather, invite them from their profile to customize the invitation.

6) Visit “Who Viewed Your Profile” on your Home page and invite people who visited you to connect.

7) Like, comment and share people’s posts on your home page.

8) Ask a question or share an article related to your industry or business through your home page “Start a post” box. Include hashtags like #stlouis, #stl, or #healthcare to attract people interested in those topics.

9) Write worthy connections a recommendation by visiting their profile, clicking “More” and then selecting “Recommend”.

Stay active on LinkedIn to be found by your prospects and to keep your organization top of mind with your customers!
