Use LinkedIn’s Collaborative Articles Function to Establish Your Expertise

by Kathy Bernard

LinkedIn Collaborative Articles let you benefit from the shared knowledge of LinkedIn members on thousands of topics like, “How do I reach purchasing decision makers?” or “What are effective ways to message a prospect?” Such articles begin as AI-generated conversation starters to encourage pre-selected experts to add their input. Comment or ask questions within the articles to boost your professional reputation. By participating, LinkedIn may invite you to become an expert and even award you badges like “Top Voice” if you consistently provide valuable input.

Contributing to these articles enhances your visibility and may be seen by industry peers and prospects leading to professional connections and career opportunities. Engaging with collaborative articles also allows you to stay current on the latest industry trends, as you learn from the input of other experts.

To find LinkedIn collaborative articles:

- Type “LinkedIn Pulse” in the search bar to view collaborative articles and topic categories.

- Enter skill-related keywords or how-to questions into the LinkedIn Search bar. As you type, related search terms will appear. Click “See all results” to view more options.

- Visit Notifications to be notified when people in your network contribute to collaborative articles or when new articles are posted.

- Once you have been granted contributor access, you can access collaborative articles directly from the Share box on your LinkedIn homepage. Click “Contribute expertise” to read and contribute to collaborative articles.

Collaborate today on articles where you can share your knowledge to prove your authority on the world’s largest business network – LinkedIn!
